In 2016, Louis created a solo exhibition of neon art as a tribute to Bowie’s "Golden Years" 1970-1980, portraying him at the height of his artistic glory. The sell out exhibition at Halcyon Gallery, New Bond Street, London celebrated the icons artistic journey from Ziggy Strardust during the glam rock era to his famed “New Romanic” Ashes to Ashes photoshoot. Each of the portraits in the exhibition re-imagined iconic moments of his career in a fusion of aluminium and neon, bringing them to life in a very unique way.
A series of limited edition prints have been created from the “Golden Years” exhibition. These archive quality Giclee prints are available in small ‘boutique’ editions of 20 to ensure exclusivity and are printed on high quality 310gsm Hahnemühle matt textured fine art paper.
The prints are available in two sizes: 50cm x 50cm and 80cm x 80cm.
