About: Featured in the "Golden Years" exhibitions, this piece was inspired by the track “Rock N Roll Suicide” from the Ziggy Stardust album of 1972. The piece references “Gitane” French cigarettes that Bowie was famous for smoking in the 70’s and 80’s. It depicts smoke drifting out of a pair of lips in the French tricolour.
