The David Bowie Tribute Art Exhibition, featuring 5 neon artworks by Louis Sidoli opened in London yesterday 21st September and attracted over 400 people for the private view. The exhibition curated by Monica Colussi at Fiat Chrysler Motor Village runs until 4th November.

A forthcoming David Bowie photography + art exhibition in central London curated by Monica Colussi will feature the largest collection of photographs and artwork ever assembled, by 30 different artists who knew or were inspired by Bowie. There will be several Louis Sidoli neon artworks on display, alongside other well known artists such as Rankin, Lincoln Townley and Guido Harari. Editor of GQ magazine Dylan Jones will also be launching his new book "David Bowie: A Life" at the exhibition on 28th September.
Two David Bowie Neon portraits are featured in the reception of "The Rabbit in the moon" restaurant at the National Football Museum in Manchester. The restaurant which occupies the 5th and 6th floors of the Urbis building, is owned by ex Manchester United footballers Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, who have teamed up with Michelin starred chef Michael O Hare to create a "Space Age Asian" dining experience. The Bowie portraits were among several pieces snapped up by Gary Neville at the "Golden Years" exhibition in Manchester last November.
Louis Sidoli artwork was recently mentioned on the "Guess This House" programme on ITV. A collection of his 'Most Wanted' artworks are on display in an incredible £5m state of the art architect designed house, complete with a football pitch, swimming pool and helipad ! According to 'The Sun' Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is currently looking to buy the 14,000 SqFt house.
Louis recently met up with one of his favourite bands: The 1975 after seeing them kick off their UK tour with an epic show at the Manchester Arena, playing to a capacity 20,000 audience. The 1975 are huge neon art fans and use neon extensively on their album artwork and imagery. Ross McDonald and Matt Healey are pictured with Louis at the after show party with his David Bowie 1975 neon artwork!
Louis has recently partnering up with SEGA, to pay homage to gaming icon 'Sonic The Hedgehog' through a collection of fine art pieces celebrating the icon's 25th anniversary. The 'Sonic 25' collection will feature 3 original neon + aluminium artworks.
A VIP + press launch took place on December 1 at Castle Fine Art, South Molton Street, with the public exhibition opening the following day.

Louis made an appearance on the BBC Adrain Goldberg Morning Show today to discuss the breaking news of Donald Trump as President Elect and his recent neon artwork portraying the two presidential candidates.
